This disk was the first in another new series of audio CDs which is entirely made up of my main line lineside recordings.
With 23 tracks and a playing time of almost 80 minutes this CD includes some of my best lineside tracks from 2007 & 2008.
Included are recordings of some particularly significant steam workings including the 40th Anniversary run of 1T57, the 1968 15 Guinea special that was supposed to mark the end of main line steam in the UK and two recordings of the new A1 on its main line test runs.
It is appropriate that the final track on this disk echoes the first track on the very first disk in the series; a recording of 46115 brings this series full circle.
